Hawkeye Real Name – Clint Barton

Hawkeye is one of the most versatile heroes in Marvel Comics history. The marksman, who is also a martial artist and samurai, was born Clint Barton and grew up in an orphanage. He ran away to join a circus where he apprenticed with two men who taught him archery and martial arts. He later adopted the identity of Hawkeye to fight crime. Barton has captained his own superhero team on multiple occasions, and in recent times he helped reform the Thunderbolts, a group of villains-turned-heroes that had been taken over by Baron Zemo.

Despite his often brash personality, Hawkeye is a smart and adaptable leader who can quickly read a situation and game plan a calculated course of action. He has a strong sense of justice and adventure, and he is willing to put his own personal safety at risk for the greater good. He is a loyal friend to his teammates and is a true believer in the ideals of his teammate Captain America.

He is a skilled marksman who excels at archery, but he also possesses considerable hand-to-hand combat ability and can handle himself in a fair fight. In fact, he is the only member of the Avengers who can defeat Thor in hand-to-hand combat.

While he may have many quarrels with his colleagues, such as Captain America and Iron Man, he is a good person at heart. He respects and cares for his fellow Avengers, and he follows them more than anyone else. He is also a dedicated family man and has a close bond with his wife, Black Widow, and their children, Wanda and Barney.

Barton is a master of various weapons, including firearms and grenades. He is also an expert in a variety of martial art techniques, including kendo, judo, and samurai swordsmanship. He has also received extensive military training, making him a formidable hand-to-hand combatant.

In recent years, Hawkeye has been a frequent guest star in the main Avengers books and has helped establish off branch teams of the heroes such as the West Coast Avengers and Secret Avengers. He has even infiltrated the former team of criminals-turned-heroes known as the Thunderbolts to see if they had changed their ways and was able to rehabilitate them. He took over the leadership of that group once they were free from Baron Zemo and shaped them into a major fighting force.

During the Dark Reign of Norman Osborn, Barton battled the psychotic Bullseye as his own “Hawkeye,” and was forced to storm their headquarters by himself before Mockingbird and others come to the merry marksman’s rescue. Barton also faced off against his own brother, Barney, who assumed the role of the new Trickshot and sought revenge on him for taking over the Thunderbolts from him. Eventually, the brothers reconciled. Barney has also teamed up with Hawkeye on several occasions to defend their home in New York City. The duo have even had a brief romance.
